Cat and Puppy

Ji'e'toh and Buster are actually getting along reasonably well. By "reasonably well," I mean that there have been no actual fights thusfar. Occasionally Buster barks, and she hisses, but so far any swats have been without claws (i.e. warnings). Buster is trying to make friends, albeit in dog-language (lots of sniffing). Ji'e'toh is mostly trying to avoid Buster, though once in a while she makes a friendly overture in cat-language (example: ducking her head under his). However, Ji'e'toh will only put up with Buster for so long before finding some place where he can't reach her. She hid in a wooden bin where Dad keeps cardboard boxes before taking them to be recycled. The slats were just too small for Buster to reach her, but he was still closer than she wanted. So she meowed at me. I told her that she'd gotten in there, so she could get out. Either she got the meaning, or decided I was too slow, as she jumped to the top and climbed out a moment later. Then she meowed for me to let her into the garage (where Buster cannot go unless on a leash). There I acquiesced. Anyway, a few pictures of the furry ones:

Buster in the yard by Dad's shoe. Buster is one of those dogs who thinks everything is a chew toy. We are still trying to convince him otherwise.

Ji'e'toh up on the garden gate, and safely away from Buster.

You should get them matching collars, if you haven't already (:

We had a cat injure himself on a collar, so we haven't put collars on any of our cats since. *shrugs*
